From early morning drama workshops, midday barbecues at the skate park, afternoon circus stunts and twilight gaol tours – they’ll be kept amused and entertained for just about every minute of every day over he next two weeks.
Babushka Productions will host student drama workshops at the theatre, 10am to 4pm, from today and Thursday.
The classes are open for nine to 14-year-olds but parents won’t be left out with adult workshops also available.
If you prefer to watch a performance rather than act one out the Old Dubbo Goal has theatrical performances every day excluding July 16. To really get into the mood the gaol is offer special twilight and moonlight tours on July 7, 10 and 16.
A community meeting at the skate park tomorrow with a free barbecue from 11am will provide parents, children and service providers a chance to have a say on what activities should be on offer during school holidays.
The library will be buzzing with activity with circus-themed entertainment from tomorrow until July 14.
There’ll also be art workshops at the cultural centre between July 12 and July 16 including fabric dyeing, abstract painting and darkroom photography.
